Deborah will present the adaptation of Tong Ren Healing to the specific anatomy and physiology of animals. When Deborah became a Tong Ren Practitioner, she used her knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology to adapt the treatments to the illness, injuries, and syndromes common to specific species. She will also share some of the healing results that she has witnessed and experienced in her animal healing practice.
Since she was a child, Deborah has been working with and healing animals. In the 1980's, Deborah collaborated with the Derry NH, ACO and started an animal rescue, owned and operated a kennel and cattery, taught obedience classes, and ran a grooming salon. Deborah and her family raised, bred, and showed Newfoundland dogs and had several of their dogs achieve champion status.
Deborah and her husband Joe founded and ran Utopia Ranch for Youth, Inc., a ranch program that brought rescued horses together with “at risk” children. The children and horses helped each other to heal and flourish. Tong Ren Healing therapy was utilized as a means to help both the children and the horses heal from both physical and psychological disease and illnesses. The results were miraculous.
"Animals don't have negative thoughts and opinions and so are very open and receptive to the healing chi of Tong Ren; they often experience swift recovery."
In late 2014, Deborah spoke with Tom Tam about the possibility of starting a Tong Ren healing center in Florida and by April of 2015, Deborah and Joe packed up their belongings, their two corgi’s and made the move to Stuart Florida. In August of 2015, Trinity Harbor Healing: A Tong Ren Healing Center opened and began offering Tong Ren Healing in Southern Florida to both people and animals.
